Josiah Kagin was called to be the senior pastor in October of 2015 after serving for seven years as assistant pastor. He and his wife Sheila have enjoyed over 10 years of marriage and ministry together. They are enjoying raising their five children—Jack, Sabrina, Jason, Sierra and Savannah. Together they share the vision for a vibrant Grace Baptist Church—a healthy, Christ-centered local church where the Bible is both practically preached and passionately practiced through authentic relationships. Pastor Shaw served as senior pastor from 2005 until 2015. He has been given the title Pastor Emeritus which means retired with honor. Both he and his wife, Karen, are deeply loved and appreciated by the church. God greatly used him to strengthen the church through practical Bible preaching and an emphasis on prayer. They plan to stay in the church and serve wherever needed. He also plans to travel and encourage other pastors. He and his wife have three children and fifteen grandchildren.
